| I got a chance to continue on Earth, to watch my child grow up, love my husband and to hug my friends. I need to remember those who didn't and take advantage of more moments in my life. | | | | I wear this Memorial Bracelet to help remind me of why I wear a uniform. Two men that were in a unit I was once a part of were both Air Force PJs that were killed in the Philippines during Operation Enduring Freedom. | | |

In response to the attacks on September 11th, on October 7, 2001, the United States and its allies began Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), also known as the War in Afghanistan. The purpose of sending military troops was to conduct strikes against al Qaeda training camps and the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. Below are the Enduring Freedom soldiers listed as (KIA) Killed In Action.
