On October 12, 2000, a bomb tore through the hull of the USS Cole while the destroyer was refueling in the port of Aden, Yemen killing 17 and injuring 39 sailors serving in the United States Navy. Below are the USS Cole sailors listed as (VOT) Victims of Terrorism.
