United We Stand Divided We Fall
The expression "United we stand, divided we fall" is commonly linked to John Dickinson, one of America's founding figures. He penned these compelling words in a 1768 essay called "Letters from a Farmer in Pennsylvania" and in the lyrics to "The Liberty Song" during a growing unrest that foreshadowed the American Revolutionary War.
This two-line cuff bracelet contains the laser-engraved message: UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL. The left icon of a block-styled American Flag signifies the unity of our 50 states, and the right icon, shown as a skull with cross-bones, signifies our fate if we divide.
